Look good, feel good and smell fantastic

Keeping your clothes smelling fresh and clean all day long will lift your spirits and add to your sense of wellbeing.

Hanger appeal

Do you find that something you bought that looked wonderful hanging from a rail in a department store or boutique seems to lose its appeal in no time at all? A few washes and then a couple of weeks forgotten at the back of the wardrobe and that once must-have skirt or new top looks, somehow, dishevelled and has lost all its hanger-appeal?

It doesn't matter how good the cut and style of an outfit is, if you don't look after it, it will soon lose its freshness and just-bought appearance. Clothes can be a big investment and it makes sense to make an effort to look after them and to protect them from dust, wrinkling and fading. How can you make sure that the clothes that you put on in the morning will still be smelling fresh by the time you've got off the bus or train and gone into a greasy café on the way into work?

The simplest solution to keeping you clothes looking fresh and in good condition is to make sure they are well laundered. Why not try Ariel with Febreze which is ideal for your everyday family washing needs. With its unique formula you will get a brilliant clean wash with long lasting freshness. You'll find that your clothes will keep that just-washed freshness for longer - up to 8 hours in fact.

Finish off your wash with Lenor with Febreze and that uplifting, fresh smell will stay with you all day long as well as keeping your clothes feeling lovely and soft too.

Of course, once all your clothes are laundered and ironed make sure you continue to look after them to keep them staying fresh and looking good. Try to avoid stuffing too many clothes together in your wardrobe or chest of drawers, for instance, to allow clothes to breath. If you are stuck for space try and rotate your clothes seasonally, storing your out-of-season clothes in boxes or even a suitcase under your bed -and line the clothes with tissue paper for extra freshness.

Always take the plastic bags off clothes that have been dry-cleaned - they will trap odours and can attract dust, and store your most expensive items in fabric clothes bags. Avoid wire hangers which can ruin the shoulder line of a dress or top and invest in a clothes brush or lint roller to get rid of excess fluff and dust.

Try and keep your clothes storage as organised as possible - it will really help you think about how you are looking after them. It's all a question of attitude! Little things, like forgetting to close a drawer or the door to your wardrobe inviting dust to settle on your clothes day-after-day isn't ideal, for instance. But if your clothes are well laundered, kept neatly in breathable storage then there's no reason why you can't take anything out of the wardrobe and slip it on and smell lovely and fresh for the rest of the day!
